Island life has slowed down for most of us and big changes still to come. Maui Window Cleaning just wanted say hi and let you know we’re still here climbing ladders and slugging it out with the dirt. We’re available to service all our established window cleaning and pressure washing customers and potential new customers island-wide. “Window cleaning” is currently considered an “essential” business on Maui. While we’re still adapting to the changes there are some perks with the slow-down. Scheduling flexibility and quicker job turn-around mean you get the dates you want and we’re on your property a shorter time. At present we prefer to maintain and clean exteriors only, although we are still servicing our realtor customer base that often need interiors included. We will also consider other residential and commercial interior jobs on an individual basis. Of course we wear face masks, gloves and goggles on all our jobs for your protection and ours.  Aloha Maui. Just a short note for some clarity. We’ve recently noticed a number of online businesses posing as “Maui Window Cleaning” or a variation of our legally registered business name. That brings up an important principle - Integrity. My wife, Lauren, and I have been doing business on Maui for 28 years and operating a window cleaning business for 18 of those years and have worked hard to establish a reliable and trustworthy reputation. While we understand why other businesses may desire to profit from that reputation, how confident can a homeowner be about the integrity of a business that is not really who they claim to be? These days integrity and honesty are paramount. We are a locally-owned, family-operated business, well-known around the island, insured, and covered by worker’s compensation. We often service properties without the householder or homeowner present or even on the island. We’re given a key, we do our work, lock the doors and call it a day. If a window cleaning business asks you to pay them cash or write a check to something other than “Maui Window Cleaning” it’s not us. If their business website is anything other than “mauiwindowcleaning.com” it’s not us. Just a heads up to protect our valued customers and Maui Window Cleaning from liability, theft or worse. That’s right! No hitchhikers allowed in Maui, or at least the buggy kind that is. Let’s face it, there are plenty of bugs in the tropics. We know because Maui Window Cleaning spends time cleaning gunk out of window and sliding door tracks. Often times these areas are littered with insects, gecko droppings, human hair and other not so attractive organic material. Besides microfiber towels, it’s our habit to liberally employ cotton drop cloths to help catch, contain, absorb and carry away these unwelcome critters and droppings. It’s nice to know that this material is not transported from property to property with unclean or contaminated drop cloths and vacuum bags. Maui Window Cleaning uses freshly laundered drops to keep bugs where they belong, not in your home. While we can’t blame the bugs for choosing to live in Maui, we do our part not to welcome them into your home with a free ride. That’s a big thumbs up, but not for the bugs!
